This week is Education Week in Ontario and the theme is Education for a Brighter Future. Schools will be celebrating with different events and activities over the course of the week. We would also like to thank all of our families, staff, and community partners for working together to empower and support our students and for helping to put them on a path to a successful and brighter future.

During Black History Month, we celebrate the many achievements and contributions of Black Canadians and their communities who throughout history have done so much to make Canada a culturally diverse, compassionate, and prosperous country.

The Rainy River District School Board invites students in Grades 6-12 from across the district to be Mental Health Champions within their school. We are looking for students who are passionate about mental health and well-being and are willing to take on a leadership role to promote mental health initiatives and a positive school climate. If this sounds like your child/youth, have them let their Principal know that they are interested!
